Setting up VPN killswitch

1. First install windscribe VPN.

2. You should see a new network adapter called "Windscribe VPN" under some "Ethernet #" as shown below. Remember the Ethernet # for your Windscribe VPN interface. In this example it is "Ethernet 4"

3. Start qBittorrent and click on the Gear for settings. Then Advanced > Network Interface. Select your Wireguard VPN interface. For my example that interface is "Ethernet 4" as described in step 2 above. After that click "OK".

Now your killswitch is set up. Torrents will not start until you turn on Windscribe VPN.

Updating ports (Lasts 7 days per request)

 This needs to be done for more efficient and faster torrenting.

1. Login to windscribe.com

2. Click on "Port Forwarding" tab, then "Ephemeral" tab, then click on "Request Matching Port."

3. Remember your port #. This port will last 7 days since the time you requested it.

4. Update your port # in qBittorrent as shown below.
